General Return Policy-
When you order window coverings from Factory Direct Blinds, you will receive a product that is custom made using the specifications and requirements that you have provided . We cannot accept returns subject to exceptions in the event of a defect or damage if required and approved by Factory Direct Blinds.
Factory Direct Blinds stands behind our products and any defects in material and workmanship. If your custom-made to order window covering was not manufactured to the size and specifications, you ordered it will be replaced at no additional cost to you. This excludes mismeasurements or improper installation. Please contact us within
30 calendar days from the date your product ships to report any issues. Your product will be remade to the same specifications per the original order and shipped at no cost to you!

within 21 calendar days from the date your product shipped and we will assist you with placing a new order for your replacement window covering at a discounted price.
All blinds ordered from Factory Direct Blinds are covered by a manufacturer’s limited warranty, except as noted on a few select products. The warranty shall apply only to original purchaser for residential application. This warrants that your product will be free from defects in material or workmanship, except defects that result from misuse, neglect, or improper installation as determined by Factory Direct Blinds. Damage caused from alterations, normal wear and tear, or exposure to the elements will not be covered under this warranty. Defective items will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Factory Direct Blinds and shall be limited to the repair and replacement of the window coverings or components found to be defective subject to Factory Direct Blind’s discretion. Warranty excludes shipping charges and labor cost for measuring and installation. Your sole remedy under this warranty is repairs made with like or similar parts. Factory Direct Blinds shall in no way be liable for incidental or consequential damages nor for the transportation, removal or re-installation of any of our products. Warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase.
Product lifetime is described as the life of the interior project for which it was originally purchased from, not to exceed five (5) years from the date of purchase. Cords used in aluminum blinds, vertical blinds, cellular shades, and roman shades are warranted for three (3) years from the date of purchase. Electric motors shall be warranted for five (5) years from the date of purchase. Electric controls shall be warranted for one (1) year from the date of purchase. Classic Blinds shall be warranted for one (1) year from the date of purchase.
Motorized roller shade a (5) year against manufacturer defects with fabric, (3) year on the battery-operated rechargeable motor and remote control.
Merchandise Damaged by Shipping-
Please inspect your order thoroughly upon receipt to ensure that it has not been damaged in shipping. Damaged items must be reported to us within ten (10) business days of receipt along with photographic evidence of shipping damage to support@FactoryDirectBlinds.com prior to replacement request being processed.
Due to the nature of ordering blinds online, it is important to carefully follow the measurement instructions posted on our website. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate measurements to ensure that your window coverings fit precisely. Factory Direct blinds will not be held responsible for measurement errors and cannot accept returns due to inaccurately ordered size.
Computer monitors or other electronic displays may vary in the manner that images and colors are depicted. To ensure an appropriate color match is achieved, we encourage you to order free samples so that you can see the true color, quality and texture of the product you are ordering. Factory Direct Blinds will not accept returns based on dissatisfaction with the color. Please note the color and finish of the final product may vary and an exact match to the sample swatch or previous purchases cannot be guaranteed.

Order Confirmation, Cancellation or Modification-
It is the responsibility of the customer to verify all order details on the email confirmation. Factory Direct Blinds does not accept responsibility for any errors in ordering, please be sure to review your order immediately and contact us right away to make the necessary corrections at firstname.lastname@example.org. If a customer does not receive an email confirmation for any reason, it is the customer's responsibility to contact email@example.com to obtain their order confirmation and any request for changes or cancellation cannot be guaranteed. When an order is placed online it is immediately submitted to production. In the event you wish to cancel or modify your order, you will need to contact firstname.lastname@example.org on the same business day.
Please be sure to double-check the accuracy of your order before submitting. All sales are final, and we cannot offer a refund or exchange due to incorrect ordering such as measurement discrepancies, color dissatisfaction, or variations in upgrade options ordered. We cannot guarantee changes or cancellations made after submitting your order.
Our goal is to maintain customer satisfaction in committing to a short production lead time and does not allow for any changes or cancellations once the order once placed. Production days are defined as Monday through Friday and do not include Saturday, Sunday, or Holidays. This does not change the fact that there will be no cancellations or changes to the order. Orders of 25 units or more may have an extended production time. Any notes or special request submitted with order by you the customer, or an order that may be questionable may incur a delay until resolved. Out of stock materials are not eligible for rush production. Notification will be sent in the even there is a backorder of material.
Warranty Exclusions –
Out-of-recommended specification or non-standard product purchases and motorized window coverings.
Every effort will be made to review and resolve any-and-all issues and requests within a reasonable amount of time. Expedited processing is not available.
No-cost replacement for manufacturing issues or for discounted replacement of non-manufacturing issues is limited to a one-time replacement per product, per household.
Customer review of a product sample swatch will be required for all requests relating to color reselection prior to a replacement order being processed.
Price Difference –
If the replacement selected issue is a higher price, you will be responsible for the difference in cost. If the product reselected is a lower price, a refund of the difference will not be issued.
All products are custom manufactured, made-to-order and are non-refundable.
