Product Information

Our 3 1/2" Signature Collection Vertical Blinds are the flagship of our vertical lineup, and by a wide margin the deepest palette we offer: 35 colors and textures spanning twelve distinct design families. Where most vertical blinds ask you to settle for whatever white is closest, Signature lets you choose the exact tone, texture, and character your room calls for.

The collection ranges from crisp architectural whites through warm sands and taupes to genuinely rich colors, including deep Raven, Sapphire, and Black, shades almost nobody offers in a vertical. Every vane is durable, wipe-clean PVC, and an upgraded dust cover valance is included.

What Puts These at the Top of the Line

  • Our Widest Vertical Palette: 35 colors and textures, roughly triple our Classic collection, so you can match cabinetry, flooring, or a paint color instead of approximating it.
  • Upgraded Dust Cover Valance Included: A 3 1/2" valance comes with the blind, and you choose square or round corners to suit your trim.
  • Real Color, Not Just Neutrals: Alongside a full range of whites and sands, the collection carries Raven, Sapphire, Black, and deep taupes for rooms that want a statement.
  • Twelve Texture Families: From smooth architectural flats to woven, linen-like, and softly curved vane profiles.
  • Durable, Wipe-Clean PVC: Moisture-resistant and easy to maintain, suitable for kitchens, patios, and high-traffic doors.
  • Standard Wand Control: Smooth rotation and draw from a single wand, with no lift cords, making it safer around children and pets.
  • Non-Toxic, Lead-Free, Fire Retardant: Safe materials meeting fire safety standards.

Navigating 35 Options Without Getting Lost

A palette this deep is a gift once you know how to approach it. Work in this order:

  • Decide whether the blind should disappear or stand out. If it should recede, match your wall or trim color and choose a subtle texture. If it should register as a design element, this is one of the few vertical collections with the depth to do it, and Recital Black, Ann Raven, or Ann Sapphire will anchor a room.
  • Then pick your texture family. Woven and linen-like families (Ann, Compose, Recital, Pagoda) read soft and formal. Natural and washed families (Turnberry, Belize, Cay, Cozumel, Wanderlust) read relaxed and organic. Vail is our curved vane profile within the collection, adding dimension along the length of the vane.
  • Finally, judge the tone in your own light. Whites and greys in particular shift dramatically between north- and south-facing rooms.

Pro Tip: With 35 choices, samples are not optional, they are the whole strategy. Order up to 10 free samples, shipped free, and narrow to a final two beside your actual trim before you order.

Where Signature Fits Against Our Other Verticals

Collection Designs Valance Choose It When
Signature Collection (this blind) 35 Upgraded valance included You want an exact match or a real color
Premier Textured 22 Optional You want texture at a mid-tier price
Classic Curved 11 Optional Budget comes first
Signature S-Shape 12 Upgraded valance included You want a drapery-like fold

Several Signature fabrics are also offered in our S-Shape Vertical Blinds, which add a deep drapery-style curve. For genuine fabric softness, see our Signature Fabric Verticals. On a tighter budget, compare Premier Textured and Classic Curved verticals.

Engineered for the Openings Nothing Else Fits

Sliding glass doors, patio doors, and wide picture windows are exactly what verticals were invented for. The vanes draw cleanly to one side so you walk straight through, and one continuous headrail spans the full opening for a single tailored treatment rather than a row of separate blinds.

Stack direction: Left or right stack gathers every vane to one side. Choose the side opposite the way your door slides so the stack never blocks the doorway. Split stack parts the vanes in the middle like drapery, with controls available on either side. Extra vanes are available for fuller coverage when closed.

How to Measure & Install

Taking accurate measurements is straightforward. Let us walk you through the process!

To ensure a perfect fit, keep these essential pointers in mind:

  • Always use a metal measuring tape for the best accuracy; fabric tapes can stretch and lead to errors.
  • If your width measurement falls on a 1/16" or 1/32" mark, round down to the nearest 1/8".
  • If your height measurement lands on a 1/16" or 1/32" increment, round up to the closest 1/8".
  • Always consult the Product Specifications for the product you are measuring for. If you have questions, we will be happy to help!

Instructions for Inside Mounted Roller Shades

Depth Requirements: For an inside mount, you'll need to make sure the window frame is deep enough to accommodate the roller shade. Refer to the Product Specifications for minimum depths depending on your chosen valance option.

Measuring the width

  • The width measurement is found by measuring the inside of the window frame in three locations: the top, middle, and bottom.
  • Choose the smallest of these measurements.
  • If you get a 1/16" or 1/32" increment, round down to the nearest 1/8".
  • That's your width for your roller shades.

Measuring the height

  • The height measurement is found by measuring the inside of the window frame in three locations: the left, center, and right.
  • Choose the largest of these measurements.
  • If you get a 1/16" or 1/32" increment, round up to the nearest 1/8".
  • That's your height for your roller shades.
Do not make any deductions. The factory will make a small deduction to ensure the roller mechanism fits inside your window frame. If you would like more light coverage, an outside mount will minimize any potential light gaps.

Instructions for Outside Mounted Roller Shades

An outside mount sits outside of the window and the window frame. Because it is meant to cover the entire space of the window, you'll need to make some additions to the measurements to make sure you order the right size. Please follow the instructions below.

Measuring the width

  • Measure the width of the area you want the shade to cover across the top.
  • We suggest adding at least 4 inches to the width (2 inches per side) to minimize light gaps.
  • That's your width for your roller shades.

Measuring the height

  • Measure the height from where you want the headrail to sit down to the window sill or desired length.
  • We suggest adding at least 4 inches to the height (2 inches top, 2 inches bottom).
  • That's your height for your roller shades.
