At Factory Direct Blinds, all of our products are custom made to each customers specifications. Because, all orders placed are electronically sent directly to our production team we cannot guarantee any changes or cancellation requests can be made. Change requests to your order are possible within 12 hours of order placement. Beyond 12 hours, we always do our best to make changes, but cannot make a guarantee as we put items into production as soon as possible.

Because, all orders placed are electronically sent directly to our production team we cannot guarantee any changes or cancellation requests can be made. Yes. Factory Direct Blinds offers cordless blinds and shades across our entire product range, eliminating dangling cords that can pose a strangulation hazard to young children and pets.

Our cordless products use an internal spring mechanism - simply push up or pull down the bottom rail by hand to raise or lower the blind. No cords, no chains, no wands needed.

All Factory Direct Blinds products comply with current CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) and ANSI/WCMA A100.1 safety standards for window coverings.

Merchandise Damaged by Shipping: Please inspect your order thoroughly upon receipt to ensure that it has not been damaged in shipping. Damaged items must be reported to us within ten (10) business days of receipt along with photographic evidence of shipping damage to support@factorydirectblinds.com prior to replacement request being processed. Once the review is completed one of our customer service representatives will update you via email with the best available resolution to this matter.

Measurement Due to the nature of ordering blinds online, it is important to carefully follow the measurement instructions posted on our website. It is the customer's responsibility to provide accurate measurements to ensure that your window coverings fit precisely. Factory Direct blinds will not be held responsible for measurement errors and cannot accept returns due to inaccurately ordered size.

1. Pricing & Activation
The MeasureSafe™ Guarantee fee is $3.99 per window covering. To activate coverage, the fee must be paid for all eligible items in your cart at the time of purchase. This fee is non-refundable once the order has been placed.

2. What is Covered
If you mismeasure your window (width or height), FactoryDirectBlinds will manufacture a replacement blind of the same product, color, and lift system at no charge to you.

Coverage Limit: 1 replacement per item purchased, up to a maximum of 4 item replacements per household per lifetime.

3. Customer Responsibilities (The Costs You Pay)
While the replacement blind itself is free, the customer is responsible for:

• Processing & Shipping: A flat $20.00 fee per remake to cover shipping and handling of the new item. Oversized items will be charged a $120 fee. Orders to Puerto Rico, Hawaii and Alaska will be charged an $85 fee.

• Price Difference: If the new measurement is larger than the original, you must pay the difference in price. If smaller, no refund will be issued.

• Disposal: You do not need to return the ill-fitting blinds; we ask that you donate or dispose of them locally.

4. Exclusions & Limitations

• Commercial Orders: This guarantee applies to residential orders only. Orders containing more than 15 items are considered commercial and are not eligible.

• Product Changes: Remakes must be for the exact same product and specifications. Only the size may be changed.

• Reporting Window: You must report the measurement error to our support team within 30 days of delivery. Claims made after 30 days will not be accepted.

5. How to File a Claim
Contact our support team at support@factorydirectblinds.com with subject line MEASURESAFE CLAIM. Please include your order number, the item(s) affected, and the correct measurements needed.

Factory Direct Blinds stands behind our products and any defects in material and workmanship. If your custom-made to order window covering was not manufactured to the size and specifications, you ordered it will be replaced at no additional cost to you. This excludes mismeasurements or improper installation. Please contact us within 30 calendar days from the date your product ships to report any issues. Your product will be remade to the same specifications per the original order and shipped at no cost to you!

We apologize for the inconvenience of receiving your order without the proper installation hardware.

To ensure an appropriate color match is achieved, we encourage you to order free samples so that you can see the true color, quality and texture of the product you are ordering. Factory Direct Blinds will not accept returns based on dissatisfaction with the color. Please note the color and finish of the final product may vary and an exact match to the sample swatch or previous purchases cannot be guaranteed.

Additionally, some important quick measuring tips we recommend customers follow are:

• Measure the width, height, and depth in multiple places across your window frame. We recommend measuring in 3-4 different places. For width, use the smallest measurement to the nearest 1/8". For height, use the longest measurement to the nearest 1/8".

• For inside mounts, when producing your blinds or shades we will take any necessary deductions for clearance during the manufacturing process. Please do not account for inside mounts during your measurement.

• For outside mounts, consider adding overlapping width and height to ensure the entire window is covered.

• Remember to measure ALL windows, even those that appear to be the same width and height. Even though they may look the same, there can often be small differences in dimensions that are important to capture in your order details.

We recommend our customers order samples before placing their blinds order. By ordering samples, you can check if the colors, textures, and materials look good in your home space. Please see our sample ordering process here for more information.

Factory Direct Blinds cannot alter blinds once they have been cut and produced and unfortunately as a result, if blinds are ordered with incorrect measurements for your windows we cannot accept returns or provide a refund.

We recommend customers add our MeasureSafe™ Guarantee to each item ordered for peace of mind.

Inside mount window treatments are installed inside the window frame. It maintains the window size and moldings visible. Outside mount window treatments are mounted on the window molding, wall, or ceiling above your window. The outside mount blinds or shades give the create the sense that the windows are larger and provide better light control.

Sample sizes depend on the style and material of the window covering you are ordering. Most of our sample sizes are either 4" x 3", 3"x2" or 2"x2". The samples are design to give our customers a feel for the color and material of our blinds selection.

Factory Direct Blinds will provide up to 10 free samples, 1 per product, per customer, at no charge. Free samples must be ordered separately and cannot be placed with an order for blinds or shades.

While it is not required, ordering samples is the best way to confirm colors, materials, textures, and see how they would look in your home.

General Return Policy
When you order window coverings from Factory Direct Blinds, you will receive a product that is custom made using the specifications and requirements that you have provided. We cannot accept returns subject to exceptions in the event of a defect or damage if required and approved by Factory Direct Blinds.

Refunds
All products are custom manufactured, made-to-order and are non-refundable.

In compliance with the latest manufacturing safety guidelines (ANSI WCMA A100.1 - 2018), Factory Direct Blinds includes with each fully-assembled product warning tags, warning labels, safety devices and cord cleats. Installers must adhere to the safety guidelines as established by the installation instructions and use all devices provided by the manufacturer. It is the responsibility of both the installer and the consumer to ensure that all safety devices are properly installed according to the manufacturers instructions, and that they remain so throughout the life of the product. Factory Direct Blinds is not liable for injuries or fatal occurrences related to improper installation or maintenance of required safety devices.

Orders shipping within the 48 Continental United States will ship freight free provided that oversized, common carrier, special handling or expedited freight do not apply. Factory Direct Blinds is not responsible for any return product shipping costs.

When you order window coverings from Factory Direct Blinds, you will receive a product that is custom made using the specifications and requirements that you have provided. All blinds ordered from Factory Direct Blinds are covered by a manufacturer's limited warranty, except as noted on a few select products. The warranty shall apply only to original purchaser for residential application. This warrants that your product will be free from defects in material or workmanship, except defects that result from misuse, neglect, or improper installation as determined by Factory Direct Blinds. Damage caused from alterations, normal wear and tear, or exposure to the elements will not be covered under this warranty. Defective items will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Factory Direct Blinds and shall be limited to the repair and replacement of the window coverings or components found to be defective subject to Factory Direct Blind's discretion. Warranty excludes shipping charges and labor cost for measuring and installation. Your sole remedy under this warranty is repairs made with like or similar parts. Factory Direct Blinds shall in no way be liable for incidental or consequential damages nor for the transportation, removal or re-installation of any of our products. Warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase.
