Product Information
Our 3 1/2" Premier Textured Vertical Blinds answer the most common complaint about vertical blinds: that they look flat. Every vane in this collection carries an embossed surface texture, from fine linen weaves to soft stipples and subtle geometrics, so light rakes across the surface and gives the vane real visual depth.
With 22 designs in the collection, this is where verticals stop being purely functional and start contributing to the room. Same durable, wipe-clean PVC construction, same effortless wand control, considerably more style.
Texture Is the Whole Point
- 22 Embossed Designs: Our mid-tier collection spans eight texture families, each offered in a curated set of neutrals, so you can match a texture to your room rather than settling for flat white.
- Depth in Daylight: Embossing catches and scatters light across the vane surface, softening the hard vertical line and making the treatment read closer to fabric than plastic.
- Perforated Options Available: Two designs in the collection are perforated, letting a fine wash of daylight through the vane itself for a glowing effect while keeping the room private.
- Durable, Wipe-Clean PVC: Moisture-resistant and easy to maintain, so texture never means high maintenance.
- Standard Wand Control: Rotate and draw with a single wand. No lift cords, safer for homes with children and pets.
- Non-Toxic, Lead-Free, Fire Retardant: Safe materials meeting fire safety standards.
Understanding the Texture Families
Rather than a wall of color chips, it helps to think in texture families. The collection includes:
- Fine woven textures (Alyssa, Evelyn, Kathy) that mimic linen and canvas for a soft, fabric-like surface. The safest choice in a formal living or dining room.
- Organic and coastal textures (Aruba, Costa Rica, JoAnn) with looser, more natural surface movement. These suit relaxed, sunlit rooms and coastal palettes.
- Perforated flats (available in Gray and Ivory) with a micro-perforated surface that transmits a gentle daylight glow through the closed vane.
Within those families you will find warm neutrals (Buttermilk, Sandstone Beige, Hazelnut, Buckskin), cool neutrals (Soft Grey, Gray, Blue Haze), and a range of whites from Brite White through Seashell and White Sand.
Pro Tip: Texture is impossible to judge from a product photo, since embossing only reveals itself in raking light. Order free samples (up to 10, shipped free) and hold them beside the actual window at the time of day you use the room.

Made for Sliding Doors and Wide Windows
Verticals exist because sliding glass doors and wide picture windows defeat everything else. The vanes draw cleanly to one side so you walk through without lifting or rolling anything, and a single continuous headrail spans the full opening for one tailored treatment instead of several mismatched pieces.
Choosing your stack direction: Left or right stack gathers all vanes to one side, and you should pick the side opposite the way your door slides so the stack never blocks the doorway. Split stack parts the vanes in the middle like curtains, which suits a centered window or a symmetrical view, and is available with controls on either side. Extra vanes can be added for denser coverage when closed.
Finishing the Headrail
Add a square corner dust cover valance to conceal the headrail and hardware for a finished top edge, or leave the headrail exposed for a cleaner, more contemporary line.

How to Measure & Install
Taking accurate measurements is straightforward. Let us walk you through the process!
To ensure a perfect fit, keep these essential pointers in mind:
- Always use a metal measuring tape for the best accuracy; fabric tapes can stretch and lead to errors.
- If your width measurement falls on a 1/16" or 1/32" mark, round down to the nearest 1/8".
- If your height measurement lands on a 1/16" or 1/32" increment, round up to the closest 1/8".
- Always consult the Product Specifications for the product you are measuring for. If you have questions, we will be happy to help!
Instructions for Inside Mounted Roller Shades
Depth Requirements: For an inside mount, you'll need to make sure the window frame is deep enough to accommodate the roller shade. Refer to the Product Specifications for minimum depths depending on your chosen valance option.
Measuring the width
- The width measurement is found by measuring the inside of the window frame in three locations: the top, middle, and bottom.
- Choose the smallest of these measurements.
- If you get a 1/16" or 1/32" increment, round down to the nearest 1/8".
- That's your width for your roller shades.
Measuring the height
- The height measurement is found by measuring the inside of the window frame in three locations: the left, center, and right.
- Choose the largest of these measurements.
- If you get a 1/16" or 1/32" increment, round up to the nearest 1/8".
- That's your height for your roller shades.
Instructions for Outside Mounted Roller Shades
An outside mount sits outside of the window and the window frame. Because it is meant to cover the entire space of the window, you'll need to make some additions to the measurements to make sure you order the right size. Please follow the instructions below.
Measuring the width
- Measure the width of the area you want the shade to cover across the top.
- We suggest adding at least 4 inches to the width (2 inches per side) to minimize light gaps.
- That's your width for your roller shades.
Measuring the height
- Measure the height from where you want the headrail to sit down to the window sill or desired length.
- We suggest adding at least 4 inches to the height (2 inches top, 2 inches bottom).
- That's your height for your roller shades.
