Valentine's Day Fun!
Who doesn't love bacon? I can't think of a better way to start Valentine's Day than with bacon. Simply lay bacon in the shape of a heart on a cookie sheet and bake. This would go great with heart shaped pancakes and pink milk!
After a yummy breakfast, I'm ready for some treats. Rice Crispies treats are super simple and quick to make. Use a heart shaped cookie cutter to make them into the perfect Valentine's Day goody to share with all of the friends I love. Add a stick for easy dipping and eating!
These cute wafer cookies are a wonderful thing that kids could help out with. They are great for taking to teachers at school, or send them to work with your husband. They are a great alternative for when you don't feel like baking!
This is something I definitely plan on doing. So much easier than trying to find a heart shaped pan that you only use once a year. It's a very easy, yet festive dessert that you can make the day before, leaving you with one less thing to worry about!
Decorating for this day of love should be fun and inexpensive. Get the kids help by having them cut hearts out and tape them on a string. You can even write what you love about each other on each heart.
Buying valentines for all the kids can get pricey. I love this adorable, homemade idea. Simply buy a bag of Teddy Grams, make cute tags and finish it off with a fun ribbon. This is also perfect for schools that do not allow sweets.
This is also a wonderful alternative to the typical candy cards; and who doesn't love cuties?
