I was pleased with the overall quality of these shades. They roll up smoothly and have sturdy feeling springs. Appears to be heavy duty vinyl fabric. I like that the rod is sewn into the hem at the bottom where it can't pop out the side or fall out. Better quality then my old shades being replaced.
