Product Information

Our 2" Premier Cordless Faux Wood Blinds pair the worry-free durability of faux wood with our widest selection of designer-inspired finishes.

If your style leans bright and airy, think soft whites, warm creams, cool greys, and sun-washed natural woodtones, this is the collection right for you.

Every blind is custom-made to your exact measurements and topped with a color-matched faux wood valance in your choice of two styles, so the finished look is seamless from slat to valance. The cordless lift keeps sills clean and cords away from little hands, earning the independent "Best for Kids" safety certification.

The Premier Difference: More Finishes, Finer Details

  • Our Widest Tone Palette: 12 designer finishes spanning crisp whites, contemporary grey, and natural light woodtones, with your choice of smooth or textured slats on select colors.
  • Two Color-Matched Valance Styles: Choose a traditional Crown valance or a clean-lined Urban valance, each made from the same faux wood material as the slats so the color match is exact rather than approximate.
  • Cordless Lift Operation: Push up or pull down on the bottom rail, and the blind holds its position. No dangling cords, no tangles, no hazards.
  • Child Safe Certified: Independently certified "Best for Kids", plus non-toxic, lead-free, and fire retardant materials.
  • Built for Humidity: Moisture-resistant composite slats won't warp, crack, or yellow in kitchens, bathrooms, or laundry rooms.
  • Simple Light Control: A tilt wand rotates the 2" slats from fully open to fully closed, and you choose which side it hangs on.

Twelve Designer Finishes: Whites, Grey, and Light Woodtones

The Premier palette is curated for bright, modern interiors. Choose the finish and texture that fits your room:

Finish Texture Options Character
Ultra White Sandblasted Our brightest white, with a subtle grain texture
Cloud White Smooth or Sandblasted A soft, versatile white for most trim colors
Cream White Smooth or Sandblasted A warm white for off-white trim and cozy palettes
Glacier Grey Smooth A cool, contemporary grey for modern spaces
Almond Smooth or Sandblasted A creamy light neutral that bridges white and wood
Sandalwood Sandblasted A sun-washed, beachy light woodtone
Butternut Sandblasted A golden woodtone with natural warmth
Acorn Sandblasted A balanced, medium natural woodtone
Cherry Sandblasted A warm, reddish woodtone with classic appeal

Smooth or Sandblasted: Which Slat Texture Should You Choose?

Premier is one of the few faux wood lines where you can choose your slat texture on select colors.

  • Smooth slats have a clean finish that suits modern and transitional rooms.
  • Sandblasted slats carry a subtle embossed grain that catches light the way real stained wood does, which makes the woodtone finishes remarkably convincing up close.

Pro Tip: Texture and tone can be hard to judge on a screen. Order free samples (up to 10, shipped free) and compare smooth against sandblasted in your own lighting before you decide.

Where Premier Fits in Our Faux Wood Family

Premier sits in the sweet spot of our faux wood lineup: a bigger palette, a color-matched valance, and far more fit customization than our value line, without the flagship price of Signature.

Line Palette Best For
Classic Core whites and 4 essential woodtones Best value; rentals, kids' rooms, whole-house projects on a budget
Premier 12 light designer finishes, smooth or sandblasted Bright, modern interiors that need an exact color and texture match
Signature 10 rich, deeply saturated woodtones The most convincing real-wood look in dark and stained finishes

Custom Sizing, Fit & Finishing Options

Every Premier blind is cut to order for your exact window, with widths up to 96 inches and heights up to 72 inches, covering everything from narrow bathroom windows to extra-wide picture windows and sliding doors. And because Premier is a more premium product, you also get finishing choices our value line doesn't offer:

  • Mount Options: Inside mount for a clean, recessed look (minimum 1 7/8" depth for cordless lift) or outside mount to make windows appear larger.
  • Valance Placement: Fully recessed (the valance sits flush inside the frame), partially recessed, or mounted in front on the wall for outside mounts. You pick the profile that suits your window trim.
  • Tilt Wand Side: Left or right, your choice, so the wand is always on the easy-to-reach side.
  • Optional Hold-Down Brackets: Anchor the bottom rail on doors and drafty windows to keep the blind from swinging.
  • Manufacturing Tolerances: Width +/- 1/8"; height + 1" or - 0".

How to Measure & Install

Taking accurate measurements is straightforward. Let us walk you through the process!

To ensure a perfect fit, keep these essential pointers in mind:

  • Always use a metal measuring tape for the best accuracy; fabric tapes can stretch and lead to errors.
  • If your width measurement falls on a 1/16" or 1/32" mark, round down to the nearest 1/8".
  • If your height measurement lands on a 1/16" or 1/32" increment, round up to the closest 1/8".
  • Always consult the Product Specifications for the product you are measuring for. If you have questions, we will be happy to help!

Instructions for Inside Mounted Faux Wood Blinds

Depth Requirements: For an inside mount, you'll need to make sure the window frame is deep enough to accommodate the faux wood blind. Refer to the Product Specifications for minimum depths depending on your chosen valance option.

Measuring the width

  • The width measurement is found by measuring the inside of the window frame in three locations: the top, middle, and bottom.
  • Choose the smallest of these measurements.
  • If you get a 1/16" or 1/32" increment, round down to the nearest 1/8".
  • That's your width for your faux wood blinds.

Measuring the height

  • The height measurement is found by measuring the inside of the window frame in three locations: the left, center, and right.
  • Choose the largest of these measurements.
  • If you get a 1/16" or 1/32" increment, round up to the nearest 1/8".
  • That's your height for your faux wood blinds.
Do not make any deductions. The factory will make a small deduction to ensure the blind fits inside your window frame. If you would like more light coverage, an outside mount will minimize any potential light gaps.

Instructions for Outside Mounted Faux Wood Blinds

An outside mount sits outside of the window and the window frame. Because it is meant to cover the entire space of the window, you'll need to make some additions to the measurements to make sure you order the right size. Please follow the instructions below.

Measuring the width

  • Measure the width of the area you want the shade to cover across the top.
  • We suggest adding at least 4 inches to the width (2 inches per side) to minimize light gaps.
  • That's your width for your faux wood blinds.

Measuring the height

  • Measure the height from where you want the headrail to sit down to the window sill or desired length.
  • We suggest adding at least 4 inches to the height (2 inches top, 2 inches bottom).
  • That's your height for your faux wood blinds.
