Our Motorized Light Filtering Cellular Shades take the 3/8" single cell honeycomb our customers have trusted for years and add a quiet, rechargeable motor with a handheld remote. Press a button and the shade glides up or down on its own, so tall windows, windows behind furniture, and whole rooms of shades become effortless to operate.

The fabric is the same soft, translucent honeycomb as our cordless version. Two layers of 100% recycled polyester trap a pocket of air against the glass for real insulation, while daylight passes through the cell and spreads into an even, glare-free glow. The room stays bright and private during the day, and the window stays completely free of cords.

How the Motor Works

Each shade ships with the motor already installed in the headrail and a rechargeable battery on board. Pair the remote once, and you are done. When the battery runs low, you recharge it in place without taking the shade down. There are no wall switches to add and no cables running down the window frame.

What "Light Filtering" Actually Means for Your Room

Light filtering sits between sheer and blackout. The fabric is translucent, so daylight passes through and fills the room evenly, but you cannot see through it, and neither can anyone outside during daylight hours. Think of it as turning a bright window into a soft, glowing panel of light.

Sizing, Fit & Installation

• Width: 20 1/2" minimum to 72" maximum.
• Height: 24" minimum to 72" maximum.
• Headrail: 1 7/8" deep by 1 5/8" high. The motor and battery live inside it, so it is a little larger than the cordless headrail.
• Inside Mount Depth: 1 3/4" minimum (2 1/4" for a fully flush fit). Outside mount has no depth requirement.
• Inside Mount Deduction: 3/8" is taken from your width so the shade clears the frame.
• Manufacturing Tolerance: +/- 1/8" on width and height.
• Installation: Hidden brackets screw into the frame or wall like any cellular shade. No wiring. Charge, pair the remote, and you are done.
