Falling Into Fall

November is  here.  Which means fall is in full effect.  Living in southern California we tend to get only a semi fall, so I over compensate with all things that remind me of my favorite season.  The amounts of pumpkin flavored things tend to get a tad out of control. But really nothing gets me into the sprit more than seeing the leaves changing colors while sippin on a pumpkin spice latte. The colors of fall also have a way with me.   The reds, yellows and oranges just seem to make everything feel cozy. Adding these comforting colors into ones décor can make for a simple way to warm up any room.  Now, when decorating for the season I know most do not think of changing up a window covering, but something as easy as adding a simple roman shade over your kitchen window in a funky orange print will not only get you in the fall spirit and change the whole feel to a room but it may also help impress your pesky mother in law.  Fall colors can be used year round to add warmth to any room.
