Our 3 1/2" Classic Curved Vertical Blinds are the smart, affordable way to cover the biggest openings in your home. A gentle curve runs the length of each vane, so instead of the flat, institutional look older verticals are known for, these hang with a soft, rounded profile that catches light and reads far more residential.
Made from durable smooth PVC that wipes clean in seconds, they are built for the places nothing else fits: sliding glass doors, patio doors, and windows too wide for a standard blind.

The Right Answer for Sliding Doors
Sliding glass doors defeat most window treatments. They are wide, they are tall, and you walk through them constantly. Verticals are the one style built around that reality: the vanes draw cleanly to one side, so you push through and step out without lifting, rolling, or fighting anything.
They handle the whole opening in one continuous headrail, so a nine-foot door reads as a single tailored treatment rather than a row of mismatched blinds. And because the vanes rotate independently of how far they are drawn, you can leave the door fully covered and simply tilt for light and airflow.
Choosing Your Stack Direction
Stack direction means which way the vanes gather when you open them. It is the single most important choice you will make, and it takes ten seconds of thought:
- Left or Right Stack: All vanes draw to one side. Pick the side opposite the way your door slides open so the stack never blocks the doorway.
- Split Stack: Vanes part in the middle and draw to both sides, like curtains. Ideal for a wide picture window or a centered view, and available with the controls on your left or right.
You can also add extra vanes if you want fuller coverage and a denser look when closed.
Finishing the Headrail
Choose a square corner dust cover valance to conceal the headrail and hardware for a clean, finished top edge, or leave the headrail exposed for a more minimal, contemporary look. Both are legitimate design choices; the valance simply hides the working parts.

A Word on Light and Privacy
PVC vanes are opaque, so when fully closed they block the great majority of incoming light and give you solid privacy day and night. Because vertical vanes hang side by side rather than sealing to a frame, thin lines of light will show between vanes and at the edges. That is normal for every vertical blind. Rotating the vanes to fully closed and choosing extra vanes both tighten the coverage noticeably.
Sizing, Fit & Installation
- Custom Made: Every blind is built to your exact measurements for sliding doors, patio doors, and wide windows.
- Mounting: Inside mount for a recessed look, or outside mount to cover the whole opening and hide the frame.
- Factory Deductions: Inside mounts take a small deduction (1/8" or 1/4" depending on valance choice). Outside mounts are made to the exact size ordered.
- Manufacturing Tolerances: Width +/- 1/8"; height +/- 1/4".
- Warranty: Limited lifetime warranty on components.

How to Measure & Install
Taking accurate measurements is straightforward. Let us walk you through the process!
To ensure a perfect fit, keep these essential pointers in mind:
- Always use a metal measuring tape for the best accuracy; fabric tapes can stretch and lead to errors.
- If your width measurement falls on a 1/16" or 1/32" mark, round down to the nearest 1/8".
- If your height measurement lands on a 1/16" or 1/32" increment, round up to the closest 1/8".
- Always consult the Product Specifications for the product you are measuring for. If you have questions, we will be happy to help!
Instructions for Inside Mounted Roller Shades
Depth Requirements: For an inside mount, you'll need to make sure the window frame is deep enough to accommodate the roller shade. Refer to the Product Specifications for minimum depths depending on your chosen valance option.
Measuring the width
- The width measurement is found by measuring the inside of the window frame in three locations: the top, middle, and bottom.
- Choose the smallest of these measurements.
- If you get a 1/16" or 1/32" increment, round down to the nearest 1/8".
- That's your width for your roller shades.
Measuring the height
- The height measurement is found by measuring the inside of the window frame in three locations: the left, center, and right.
- Choose the largest of these measurements.
- If you get a 1/16" or 1/32" increment, round up to the nearest 1/8".
- That's your height for your roller shades.
Instructions for Outside Mounted Roller Shades
An outside mount sits outside of the window and the window frame. Because it is meant to cover the entire space of the window, you'll need to make some additions to the measurements to make sure you order the right size. Please follow the instructions below.
Measuring the width
- Measure the width of the area you want the shade to cover across the top.
- We suggest adding at least 4 inches to the width (2 inches per side) to minimize light gaps.
- That's your width for your roller shades.
Measuring the height
- Measure the height from where you want the headrail to sit down to the window sill or desired length.
- We suggest adding at least 4 inches to the height (2 inches top, 2 inches bottom).
- That's your height for your roller shades.
