Woven Wood Cordless Top-Down/Bottom-Up ShadesThese treatments capture the essence of wood blinds and serve the same purpose. However, these window blinds are made from different materials, such as PVC, vinyl, or composite.
Cleaning these blinds is simple as they are moisture resistant. Mix detergent with water and wipe each slat with a soft cloth.
Faux wood blinds block sunlight between 90 and 95%. When closed, there will still be a small slit between slats that lets some light inside.
Uninstall from the frame and soak in bathtub with cold water and 2 cups of bleach for at least 10 minutes. This removes the yellowish tone.
These blinds are heavier than real wood and may not be ideal for very large windows.
